Remember Great Teachrers On This Teachers Day 2012

In India Guru and Student relationship is most respectable. From eternal tense to till now all Indian see the image of god in Guru. As per the scriptures we see Guru in the form of parents, God and Teacher. I am trying to show some information of great teacher and their students who is always respectable in the Brahmand.
Siva/Vishnu are said to be the first teachers. Veda Vyasa is said to be the first human teacher, who is an incarnation of Vishnu himself. This is the reason his birth day is celebrated in remembrance of Gurus (Vyasa Purnima is called Guru Purnima)

Guru is treated with such high respect, because it is believed that he
Vedvyas
imparts that knowledge which cannot otherwise be gained through merely reading books. In spiritual disciplines this applies more, and here is how the importance of teacher is explained:
"dhyana mulam gurormurtiH puja mulam guroH padam mantra mulam gurorvakyam moksha mulam guroH kripa"
Meaning: Guru's murti/idol/body is the object of meditation, his feet the objects of worship, his words the objects of chanting. All this is because in his grace lies the source of liberation.
Guru is said to be worthy of such respect and unwavering trust of the disciple, since he takes the responsibility for molding the disciple into what he should be. The disciple that follows Guru's word with faith, is supposed to be assured of reaching the goals (sometimes irrespective of the personal merit of the teacher).
Guru Vashishta: is one of the Saptarishis in the seventh, the present Manvantara, Vashista is a manasputra of God Brahma. He had in his possession the divine cow Kamadhenu, and Nandini her child, who could grant anything to their owners. Arundhati is the name of the wife of Vashista. Vashista one of 9 Prajapatis is credited as the chief author of Mandala 7 of the Rigveda. Vashista and his family are glorified in RV 7.33, extolling their role in the Battle of the Ten Kings, making him the only mortal besides Bhava to have a Rigvedic hymn dedicated to him. Another treatise attributed by him is "Vashista Samhita" - a book on Vedic system of electional astrology.
Maharshi Vasishta

When Prabhu Shri Ram Completed their study and returning comeback to Aayodhya then they will take ceremonious leave of the revered guru. On the last day of Ashrama Vasishta said to all Disciple:
It’s the last day of your stay in this hermitage. The knowledge I could import is now complete. On this occasion of leave taking, I initiate you into final wisdom. True knowledge liberates: That is real real learning is that which frees you. Now I free you from all the precepts i gave you. Now the mantra to traverse the path of life is: May the illuminated soul be your guiding life. That is you need not take my precepts with blind faith, use your knowledge and discriminating intellect to decide your own duty and principles. Scriptures decree the three debts man must discharge: Debt to God, to ones ancestors, and teacher debt to god is paid by devotion and worship. When you see God’s image in all living beings all become worthy of worship, this is the true worship of God. This is how you repay your debt to God.
Vasishta Muni

Sacrificing ones happiness to serve the parents is the way to pay our debts to ancestors. As for your dues to me your Guru through your thoughts and action spread joy, beauty and the grace of truth. Establish respect for the creed of humanism root out enemity from hearts and sow love in its place. I will take this vow from you to free you of debt to me. My blessing is always with you. Whenever you think of me, you should find me with you.
The Guru is Brahma, The creator
The Guru is Vishnu, The Preserver
The Guru is Shiva, The Destroyer
The Guru is Verily, Incarnation of the Ultimate Reality
Thus do obeisance to the revered Guru
Ram: After spending so many years in the lap of your love I have only one prayer, Learned mother May the mental of your love be always upon us if we erred unknowingly please forgive us.
Guru Sandipani:
Rishi Sandipani
Sandipani, which means "Sage of Gods", was a guru of Lord Krishna. Sandipani was a rishi/muni/saint of Ujjain. Ujjain known as Avantbad. The Sandipani Muni ashram is located 2 km outside Ujjain, in the Madhya Pradesh India. Sri Krishna, Balarama and Sudama, while staying as students at Guru Sandipani’s residence, learnt every thing in a single lesson. Upon completion of their studies, they persuaded the teacher to ask for the preceptor’s dakshina of his liking. Sandipani asked for, as his dakshina, the restoration of his child lost in the ocean at Prabhaas. Shrikrishna and Balrama fulfill their Guru dakshina by giving son of Sandipani.
Dronacharya:
Dronacharya with Arjuna and Ekalavya

In the epic Mahabharata, Drona or Dronacharya was the royal guru to Kauravas and Pandavas. He was a master of advanced military arts, including the Devastras. Arjuna was his favorite student. Drona's love for Arjuna was second only to his love for his son Ashwatthama. He was considered to be a partial incarnation of Brihaspati
Arjuna:
Arjuna was the very lovable student of Acharya Drona. Arjuna is the third of the Pandavas and, with Krishna, is considered the hero of Hindu epic Mahabharata. He plays the listener in the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad Gita which is a philosophical conversation between Arjuna and Krishna.
Ekalavya:
This is the story of a long-gone era. In the country of India, nearly five thousand years back, lived a boy named Eklavya, the son of a tribal chief in the forests of the kingdom- Hastinapura. Eklavya was a brave, handsome boy. He was loved by all. But he was not. Ekalvya given his thumb as a gurudakshina to Dronacharya.
And true to Drona's blessing, Eklavya is still praised as the most loyal and brave student in the epic of Mahabharatha.
Krishna : The teacher, philosopher and much more the Ultimate teacher.
Shri Krishna the ultimate teacher

Krishna the Purna Purushottama after getting thousand of marrige still krishna was the great Brahmachari. Krishna the 8th incarnation of Lord Vishnu is not just a divine entity but a whole consciousness. Krishna is the only person in the history of human consciousness who is tremendously in love with life, with the poetry of life, with the music of life, with dance of life. He is not at all life-negative, he is very affirmative. And he accepts life as it is; he does not put god and the world as opposites. When I read Bhagvad Gita or The song Divine it transformed my way of life. We , who do not see Krishna just as a God , see his as a yogi, a philosopher and a teacher. He is the greatest scientist and engineer. Krishna is adored in three different ways: vatsalya bhava, madhura bhava and sakhya bhava.

Guru Parasurama
Parasurama was the great rishi and they finished 21 times all the kshatriyas from the earth. Learning that Parasurama was giving away his fruits of penance to brahmanas, Drona approached him. Unfortunately, by the time Drona arrived, Parasurama had given away all his belongings to other brahmanas. Taking pity upon the plight of Drona, Parasurama decided to impart to Drona his knowledge of combat and gave all his weapons to him.
Chanakya:
ChanakyaChanakya was teacher at the ancient Takshashila University, Chanakya managed the first Maurya emperor Chandragupta's rise to power at a young age. He is widely credited for having played an important role in the establishment of the Maurya Empire, which was the first empire in archaeologically recorded history to rule most of the Indian subcontinent. Chanakya served as the chief advisor to both Chandragupta and his son Bindusara.
Chanakya is traditionally identified as Kautilya or Vishnu Gupta, who authored the ancient Indian political treatise called Arthasastra. As such, he is considered as the pioneer of the field of economics and political science in India, and his work is thought of as an important precursor to Classical Economics. Chanakya is often called the "Indian Machiavelli", although his works predate Machiavelli's by about 1,800 years. His works were lost near the end of the Gupta dynasty and not rediscovered until 1915.
Chandra Gupt:
Chandragupta Maurya was the founder of the Maurya Empire. Chandragupta succeeded in conquering most of the Indian subcontinent. According to some ancient Buddhist texts he claims descent from the Shakya rulers of solar race. Buddhist texts describes about his lineage with the "Moriya" clan of Shakya rulers hence he was the scion of the solar race of Kshatriya's. Having defeated the Greek satrap in the Khyber mountains around 303 BCE, Chandragupta was crowned King at Taxila. As a result, Chandragupta is considered the first unifier of India and its first genuine emperor. In foreign Greek and Latin accounts, Chandragupta is known as Sandrokyptos
Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan:

Dr Servepalli Radhakrishnan
We are celebrating this Teachers day from the birth of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Pronunciation was an Indian philosopher and statesman who was the second President of India from 1962 to 1967. He was the first Vice President of India (1952–1962).

Onam Celebrations

Until August 31, when the festival ends, Keralites will push concerns over the deficient monsoon to the background and celebrate the annual visit of mythical King Mahabali.

"The beauty of this festival is that it is celebrated across religion, gender and age. I have noticed that over the years, levels of participation are actually rising. It is nice that traditional games are still played, not just in rural parts of the state but also in cities," said E. Draupadi, a retired teacher.

Onam Celebration
Traditionally, Onam celebrations start on Atham day, 10 days before Thiruvonam.

These days, many offices organise competitions around such decorations.

Onam is known for the lavish 25-dish lunch, served on a banana leaf.

"One significant difference in the Onam cuisine is while the southern districts of the state serve only vegetarian lunch, in the northern districts, non-vegetarian dishes are also served," said Arun Abraham, a caterer in Kottayam.

His hands are full at this time of year. He has numerous orders for the Onam lunch.

Celebrations cannot be complete without a smashing sale of liquor. The state-owned Kerala State Beverages Corporation, the sole wholesalers, has stocked its outlets and godowns with more than adequate stock.

"Last year during Onam week, we had sales of close to Rs.300 crore and this time we expect the sales to go up by a minimum 25 percent," said an official.

The Independence Day of India, celebrated on 15 August, is a holiday commemorating India's independence from the British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation on 15 August 1947.

In Delhi the Prime Minister of India hoists the national flag at the Red Fort, followed by a nationally broadcast speech. The day is observed all over India with flag-hoisting ceremonies, parades and cultural events. Citizens rejoice the day by displaying the national flag on their attire, household accessories, vehicles varied activities such as kite flying, bonding with family and friends, and enjoying patriotic songs and films are seen. Every year the prime minister of India gives speech to Indian people. I want to say you some words that was said by our prime minister at the moment of last independence day.

Independence day celebration
On 15th August 2012, India is gonna Complete the 65th Independence Day of India and everyone Indian Citizen is gonna celebrate the 66th Independence Day of India. Here we are giving the complete details about Independence Day of India 2012 SMS Messages, Quotes, Speech, Scraps, Wishes, Wallpaper etc.
On the occasion of 65th Independence day Indian prime minister says..

Great India
Every year, we celebrate our Independence Day with great fervor as well as joy and justifiably so, as it commemorates that day, when after many years of subjugation, our country gained its freedom. Indeed, in the annals of history, 15th of August 1947 will always be remembered as a day of an extraordinary accomplishment, of when India won its freedom with unparalleled fortitude and unique means. Under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, our movement for attaining freedom through Ahinsa and Satyagraha spread throughout the country, inspiring people in a manner rarely seen. Millions and millions of our men and women, willingly and enthusiastically responded to his call. They united to become an immense force that defeated the mightiest colonial power. Free India, was thus born.

As citizens of free India, we must reflect on the values and principles which were in the minds and hearts of those who fought and sacrificed for our freedom. They drew inspiration from the values nurtured in the country through millennia. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru once described Gandhiji as, “embodying the old spirit of India, who held aloft the torch of freedom”. Gandhiji’s thoughts and his life were truly an expression of the philosophy of our ancient civilization in which peace and harmony, non-violence and truth, human dignity and compassion were given great prominence. Are we now forgetting these principles? Are we overlooking them? No, we should not. These are eternal values, which have sustained our nation, our society and also each one of us as individuals. Gandhiji’s thinking continues to have deep influence and is of increasing relevance in the world, with 2nd October, his birthday, being observed every year as the International Day of Non-Violence.

Red Fort Delhi

Dear Citizens, We are at a historic phase when the world is shifting course. It is impacting our economy, polity, trade, commerce, education and pace of life. In this era of transformation, India definitely cannot lag behind. Our entire effort must be to ensure that there is overall development in which all people prosper. However, can our political approaches, economic progress and scientific advances be combined with values of human welfare, tolerance, mutual respect and selflessness propounded by learned men, leaders, philosophers and thinkers of our country? Our past and our future are linked. The future beckons us and the past guides us.

Red Fort

What has been our past? India, a mature and a harmonious society, had a rich tradition of learning and a philosophy based on experiences and knowledge of thousands of years. Swami Vivekananda spoke of India as, “the ancient land, where wisdom made its home before it went into any other country”. Ours is a land where religions have taken birth and all religions of the world have found a place. Ours is a land where different languages, cultures and customs flourished. So well known was India for its piety, scholarship and centres of study, that it attracted travellers from across the world. From early times, India always looked at progress and moral growth as mutually inclusive rather than mutually exclusive concepts. India’s depth of thought was matched by its material prosperity. Its fine goods, its spices, its silk, its cotton, were much sought after. India’s traders went to distant lands both to the East and the West, carrying with them not only goods from India, but also its reputation as a land of great culture and wealth.

We are the inheritors of this great civilization whose legacy has been passed on from generation to generation. We can be worthy heirs if we follow, in the true sense, the ideals of political, social and economic justice. Lip service will not do. We have to be ardent adherents. We are also duty-bound to pass on this rich inheritance to our younger generation - the 540 million youth. We place great hope on them and rightly so. They have been demonstrating their capabilities and strengths in various fields of human activity in India and abroad. Whether in multi-national business enterprises or the IT industry or financial organizations or global scientific bodies, young Indians are joining their ranks and making their mark. In sports, they have been bringing laurels to the country. Our youth are the architects of the nation’s future. We must educate them and inculcate in them a spirit of sacrifice, dedication, patriotism and service to the nation. This way, they would be ready to face the future with confidence and build on the achievements made so far.

Which means:-

Across the skies your fame has spread,

with every breeze your strength grows.

With these words, I once again wish all Fellow Citizens peace, prosperity and progress on the occasion of Independence Day.

Jai Hind.

And wait for the 2012's speech of prime minister.

Ye jo mahlo aur jhopariyo ka mukaddar foot jayega gar hamare hatho jamane sharafat chhot jayega , khodaye pak ka ghar ho ya ram ka mandir , emarat koi bhiu tooti pura bharat toot jayega.

I proud to be an Indian. Never ever try to curse your mother India. live for it and die for it. live and let live. be proud of your incredible loving country. Saare Jaha Se Achha Hindustaan Hamara... Sabhi Bharat Bhahisiyo Ko Swatantarata Divas Ki Hardik Shubhkaanaye.

INDIA IS GREAT Being an INDIAN I AM PROUD Albert Einstein said: We owe a lot to the Indians, who taught us how to count, without which no worthwhile scientific discovery could have been made. proud to be an Indian

Celebrate Birth of Supreme God, Shri Krishna Janmashtami 2012

Every body know Krishna is the most powerful incarnation of Vishnu. Krishna is the The supreme god of goddess and upcoming 10th Aug is the birth day of lord Krishna. In India every body celebrate the birth of lord Krishna, birth of Krishna known as a Janmashtami. All the Vishnu avatars he is the most popular, and perhaps of all Hindu gods the one closest to the heart of the masses.

Krishna Janmashtami is observed on the Ashtami tithi, the eighth day of the dark half or Krishna Paksha of the month of Bhadra in the Hindu calendar, when the Rohini Nakshatra is ascendant. The festival always falls within mid-August to mid-September in the Gregorian calendar. In 2012 the festival will celebrated on 10th Aug. Krishna was dark and extremely handsome. The word Krishna literally means 'black', and black also connotes mysteriousness.

Krishna Janmashtami

Few years later, while boy Krishna is playing by river Yamuna with his friends, their ball falls into the river. All know that the river is home to dreaded multi-headed snake, Kaliya.

Kaliya mardan
Nobody wants to come anywhere close to the river. It’s then that Boy Krishna plunges into the water. As the other boys await his return which incidentally takes time, they get worried. But before they can actually rush back home to fetch the elders of the village, Krishna appears from the waters, though dancing on the head of Kaliya, having vanquished him! This is how Lord Krishna describes God in the Holy Gita. And to most Hindus he is the God himself, the Supreme Being or the Purna Purushotam.
This weekend is the birthday of Lord Krishna. All around the world, Krishna devotees will be celebrating this auspicious event with great joy, by hearing about the pastimes of Krishna, singing bhajan to Him, Chanting hare Krishna name and making a big feast for Him. Just as you would cook some delicious dishes for your loved one’s birthday, it is also nice to go out of your way to cook some special dishes for Krishna on the occasion of his birth.

GOPALKALA is the very famous food in Janmashtami. Every person try to get this Gopalkala. When Krishna used to go to forest behind cows with his friends then they mix all friends food in a single dish. That is why today also all people bring some food in temple and mix it in the occasion of Janmashtami, that food call it as Gopalkala.

Gopal Kala
Ingredients we use to prepare Gopalkala is Beaten Rice, Coconut (fresh), Cucumber, Green chillies, Ghee, Jeera, Ginger, Curd, Sugar, Salt to taste. Soak beaten rice for 10 minutes. Grate the coconut, roughly chop the cucumber & finely chop the green chillies and ginger. Melt ghee in a small pan for the tempering, add the jeera, green chillies and ginger. Pour over the Beaten Rice and add in the remaining ingredients. Mix well all the ingredients.

You can prepare by mixing any veg dishes to create your own special feast. The idea is to make an extra effort to cook something fancy for our dear Lord Krishna. Here are some dishes you can prepare it for Janmashtami. Shrikhand, Milk roti, Pedha, Makhan ka samosa, Singhare ki puri, Kalakand, Aloo/Arvi ki Chaat, Til ki Kheer (Sesame Pudding). Some restaurants in Bangalore also preparing special dishes for Janmashtami. Cause they know people whom don't have time to prepare dishes they buy and gift to Krishna.

As I mentioned this is just a suggested menu which you could tweak in any way you like. If you don’t have much time, simply make one vegetable dish, one sweet and skip other. I do however think that if you like to cook it is nice to spend some time in the kitchen for Krishna on His birthday. May you all have a joyful Janmashtami celebration filled with remembering our dear most friend Krishna. In Bangalore Iskcon temple is very famous for celebrating Janmashtami. You should go there for celebrating Janmashtami.

Ultimate Krishna
For generations, Krishna has been an enigma to some, but God to millions, who go ecstatic even as they hear his name. People consider Krishna their leader, hero, protector, philosopher, teacher and friend all rolled into one. Krishna has influenced the Indian thought, life and culture in myriad ways. He has influenced not only its religion and philosophy, but also into its mysticism and literature, painting and sculpture, dance and music, and all aspects of Indian folklore. Lord Krishna said healthy and tasty food is the first priority of human body and that is why he apposed to sending the makhan in Mathura.

Krishna is the embodiment of his own teachings, and the Bhagavad Gita is his greatest message and mission to deliver us the knowledge that we all strive to seek. "In the Gita we hear the distant sound of the conflict of sects, and Lord Krishna comes in the middle to harmonize them all; He, the great teacher of harmony, Lord Krishna," said Swami Vivekananda, "The glory of Sri Krishna is that He has been the best preacher of our eternal religion and the best commentator on the Vedanta that ever lived in India." As Krishna himself said: "In Me they are all strung like pearls upon a thread."

Rasa lila, dramatic enactments of the life of Krishna, are a special feature in regions of Mathura and Vrindavan, and regions following Vaishnavism in Manipur. While the Rasa lila re-creates the flirtatious aspects of Krishna's youthful days

Dahi Handi
The Dahi Handi celebrate God's playful and mischievous side, where teams of young men form human pyramids to reach a high-hanging pot of butter and break it. This tradition, also known as uriadi, is a major event in Tamil Nadu on Gokulashtami.

All sorrows are destroyed upon attainment of tranquillity. The intellect of such a tranquil person soon becomes completely steady and united with the Supreme. There is neither Self-knowledge, nor Self-perception to those who are not united with the Supreme. Without Self-perception there is no peace, and without peace there can be no happiness. Because the mind, when controlled by the roving senses, steals away the intellect as a storm takes away a boat on the sea from its destination the spiritual shore of peace and happiness. Therefore, one’s intellect becomes steady whose senses are completely withdrawn from the sense objects.

Lord Krishna Said:
Whatever Belongs To You Today, Belonged To Someone Else Yesterday And It Will Belong To Some One Else Tomorrow. Don’t be illusioned By Maya. Maya Is The Root Cause Of All Pain And Misery.
Happy Janmashtami…!

Nand ke Anand Bhayo Jay kanhaiya lal ki, Hathi Ghoda pal ki Jay Kanhaiya lal ki.
Just Chant Hare Krishna and live your life peacefully.

Multi Cuisine Restaurants in Jayanagar

As like Koramangala Jayanagar is also a residential and commercial area of Bangalore. It is sub-divided into ten large blocks, most of which comprise residential areas only 3rd and 4th block are largely commercial hubs, it is the oldest city in Bangalore. 4th block is known for its shopping complex BDA and Janatha Bazaar of Jayanagar and so many restaurants around the area. Jayanagar is the hub of Kannada speaking population. It was founded in the year of 1959. It was one of the first planned neighbor hoods in Bangalore and at that time, the largest in Asia. Since then, Jayanagar has expanded significantly. A 2010 survey by DNA Bangalore ranked Jayanagar as the most liveable place in Bangalore. This was the basic idea about Jayanagar. Jayanagar IV Block is well known for its shopping Complex, restaurants and fast food centers. There is Inox multiplex which has 4 screens. Earlier it was known as Swaagath theatre.

In my previous post i discussed about fast food restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Continental restaurants and Indian restaurants in Jayanagar, and now i want to show you some Multi cuisine restaurants, Italian restaurants and snacks restaurant which is famous for its best services.

Multi- Cuisine Restaurants:

Buoyancee:
Buoyancee is family restaurant which is located in Jayanagar 4th block.

Kuchh Bhi:
Multi Cuisine Restaurants
As per the name you can eat here any thing you want, means North Indian, south indian food with the right price. It is very nice for North Indian, Chinese and ROLLS. It's a case of anything goes, or very nearly that, at Kuch Bhi. Standard multi-cuisine fare is on offer here, running the gamut from Gobhi Manchurian to Paneer Tikka. The medium-size eatery also does a range of Kathi Rolls for in-between meals, and could be a good option if you are looking at takeaways.

Food Palace:
I went to food palace 8 to 10 times, and never felt disappointed. Every time, the feeling was good, They serve many types of food like Caribbean food American food, Mexican food etc. But those who have never tasted Caribbean don’t worry. It goes very well with the Indian palette too. The buffet is on weekends and costs about Rs.200/-. They have a variety of salads, both veg and non-veg. If you like salads, you would surely love this place. The fish steak was very nice. They also have rotis, rice, a nice drink called Cocorico and lots more. The ambience is not like a restaurant, when you will there then you fill like a house.

Parivar:
Parivaar is one of the restaurants where you will never miss home food so if you're away from home, missing your mothers homemade food, do not worry Parivar will serve you the homemade food at your door step. Order from this restaurant and enjoy your cuisine. Parivar appeals to the family crowd all right, with its something-for-everyone menu, which, most multi-cuisine restaurants will tell you, is why they put Fried Rice and Fish Masala on the same menu. I say you should try Biryaani in this restaurant.

Rayal Comforts:
This restaurant is located 27th Cross Jaya Nagar, It gives you perspective fine dining serving the best of Indian dishes North-Indian cuisine. You can also book table before hand and enjoy the mouth watering cuisines at Rayal Comforts.

Sukh Sagar:
Most people know what to expect at a Sukh Sagar. It's all-veg and the menus are a medley of dishes-Masala Dosa, Veg Ball in Hot Pepper Sauce and Mushroom Fried Rice, Kulcha and Kofta Curry. The restaurants have no particularly outstanding features, but the vegetarian clientele has no complaints, with diners happily tucking into Taco Salad and even venturing to try the ice-cream sundaes which are a more a riot of colours than a profusion of flavours. Crowd-pleasers, rather than classic cooking are on offer here, and that's what the Sukh Sagars are about.

Utsav:
It is located in 87th Main in Jaya Nagar It's got the by-now standard fare of South Indian, North Indian, Mughlai and Chinese restaurants, which is pretty much par for the course. Its Three-in-One starter (cauliflower, mushroom and baby corn) is worth a try (a little less seasoning and lot less oil would surely result in more takers) and its Special Curry seems to be a goulash of all the other curries. It scores on ambiance but the tablecloths are past their salad days, which families seem to put up with cheerfully. And if it'd desist from topping the Hot Chocolate Fudge with kalakand, it'd be doing everyone, including the kalakand, a big favor.

This was the best multi cuisine restaurants in Jayanagar you can go at Thames, Ice Den and some other popular multi cuisine restaurant for change your mouth taste.

Snacks Restaurants in Jayanagar:

Chips and Shakes:
You may know lot of snacks restaurants but the Chips and snakes is one of the best snacks restaurants in Bangalore. Here you can get Chips, Aaloo crunch chips, Tomato chips, Banana chips and lot of varieties snacks.

Chips and shakes
Hot Chips:
Really fresh chips, fried right in front of you, are a speciality at this Jayanagar outlet which also serves up chats and ice-cream. Regulars swear by the Chilli Banana Chips and the Tapioca. Stop by and buy some if you happen to be in the vicinity of 4th Block.
