As
like Koramangala Jayanagar is also a residential and commercial area
of Bangalore. It is sub-divided into ten large blocks, most of which
comprise residential areas only 3rd and 4th block are largely
commercial hubs, it is the oldest city in Bangalore. 4th block is
known for its shopping complex BDA and Janatha Bazaar of Jayanagar
and so many restaurants around the area. Jayanagar is the hub of
Kannada speaking population. It was founded in the year of 1959. It
was one of the first planned neighbor hoods in Bangalore and at that
time, the largest in Asia. Since then, Jayanagar has expanded
significantly. A 2010 survey by DNA Bangalore ranked Jayanagar as the
most liveable place in Bangalore. This was the basic idea about
Jayanagar. Jayanagar IV Block is well known for its shopping
Complex, restaurants and fast food centers. There is Inox multiplex
which has 4 screens. Earlier it was known as Swaagath theatre.
In
my previous post i discussed about fast food restaurants, Chinese
restaurants, Continental restaurants and Indian restaurants in Jayanagar, and now i want to show you some Multi cuisine restaurants, Italian restaurants and snacks restaurant which is famous for its
best services.
Multi-
Cuisine Restaurants:
Buoyancee:
Buoyancee is family restaurant which is located in Jayanagar 4th
block.
Kuchh
Bhi:
As
per the name you can eat here any thing you want, means North Indian,
south indian food with the right price. It is very nice for North
Indian, Chinese and ROLLS. It's a case of anything goes, or very
nearly that, at Kuch Bhi. Standard multi-cuisine fare is on offer
here, running the gamut from Gobhi Manchurian to Paneer Tikka. The
medium-size eatery also does a range of Kathi Rolls for in-between
meals, and could be a good option if you are looking at takeaways.
Food
Palace:
I
went to food palace 8 to 10 times, and never felt disappointed. Every
time, the feeling was good, They serve many types of food like
Caribbean food American food, Mexican food etc. But those who have
never tasted Caribbean don’t worry. It goes very well with the
Indian palette too. The buffet is on weekends and costs about
Rs.200/-. They have a variety of salads, both veg and non-veg. If you
like salads, you would surely love this place. The fish steak was
very nice. They also have rotis, rice, a nice drink called Cocorico
and lots more. The ambience is not like a restaurant, when you will
there then you fill like a house.
Parivar:
Parivaar
is one of the restaurants where you will never miss home food so if
you're away from home, missing your mothers homemade food, do not
worry Parivar will serve you the homemade food at your door step.
Order from this restaurant and enjoy your cuisine. Parivar appeals to
the family crowd all right, with its something-for-everyone menu,
which, most multi-cuisine restaurants will tell you, is why they put Fried Rice and Fish Masala on the same menu. I say you should try
Biryaani in this restaurant.
Rayal
Comforts:
This
restaurant is located 27th Cross Jaya Nagar, It gives you
perspective fine dining serving the best of Indian dishes
North-Indian cuisine. You can also book table before hand and enjoy
the mouth watering cuisines at Rayal Comforts.
Sukh
Sagar:
Most
people know what to expect at a Sukh Sagar. It's all-veg and the
menus are a medley of dishes-Masala Dosa, Veg Ball in Hot Pepper
Sauce and Mushroom Fried Rice, Kulcha and Kofta Curry. The
restaurants have no particularly outstanding features, but the
vegetarian clientele has no complaints, with diners happily tucking
into Taco Salad and even venturing to try the ice-cream sundaes which
are a more a riot of colours than a profusion of flavours.
Crowd-pleasers, rather than classic cooking are on offer here, and
that's what the Sukh Sagars are about.
Utsav:
It
is located in 87th Main in Jaya Nagar It's got the by-now standard
fare of South Indian, North Indian, Mughlai and Chinese restaurants, which is pretty much par for the course. Its
Three-in-One starter (cauliflower, mushroom and baby corn) is worth a
try (a little less seasoning and lot less oil would surely result in
more takers) and its Special Curry seems to be a goulash of all the
other curries. It scores on ambiance but the tablecloths are past
their salad days, which families seem to put up with cheerfully. And
if it'd desist from topping the Hot Chocolate Fudge with kalakand,
it'd be doing everyone, including the kalakand, a big favor.
This
was the best multi cuisine restaurants in Jayanagar you can go at
Thames, Ice Den and some other
popular multi cuisine restaurant for change your mouth taste.
Snacks
Restaurants in Jayanagar:
Chips
and Shakes:
You
may know lot of snacks restaurants but the Chips and snakes is one of
the best snacks restaurants in Bangalore. Here you can get Chips,
Aaloo crunch chips, Tomato chips, Banana chips and lot of varieties
snacks.
Hot
Chips:
Really
fresh chips, fried right in front of you, are a speciality at this
Jayanagar outlet which also serves up chats and ice-cream. Regulars
swear by the Chilli Banana Chips and the Tapioca. Stop by and buy
some if you happen to be in the vicinity of 4th Block.
